Made from the pulp of the fruit from the palm tree. Palm oil contains the hard to find toctrienols, which are members of the vitamin E family, Vitamin E is a strong antioxidant that helps the skin to fight free radicals that damage the skin and cause fine lines and wrinkles. It adds hardness to your soap. It is very mild and cleans well, but does not have much skin conditioning or bubbly lather. Using palm oil may slightly speed up saponification. For soapmaking, do use in combination with other oils.

Please keep in a cool dry place. However, please note that the slip melting point of palm oil is 24°C; hence on a cool day when the temperature drops, this oil may start to solidify or appear cloudy. This does not impact quality or usability of the oil. When this happens, slowly reheat the oil under low heat until all the solids have melted.
