This unrefined Shea butter is 100% organic in Grade A, this unrefined Shea Butter is Ivory colour, it has a pleasant nutty aroma, soft and creamy non-grainy texture that melts easily at skin temperature. It has been used to help heal burns, sores, scars, dermatitis, psoriasis, dandruff, and stretch marks. It contains many fatty acids, which are needed to retain skin moisture and elasticity. It also contains cinnamic acid to help protect the skin. Adds hardness and more conditioning to soaps. It also produces a creamy lather but should be added with a carrier oil to make the lather a bit bubblier. This unrefined Shea Butter is considered to be high in vitamin/mineral content which is thought to benefit dry skin. Suggested usage of 10-20% of total oils.
 
Common uses in cold & hot process soaps, lotions, scrubs, skin & hair care, massage oil, lip products, cosmetics, shaving creams, ointments, etc.
